Students interested in undertaking an international academic experience in Portugal can now prepare for the selection process at the University of Porto (U.Porto) for the 2026/2027 academic year. Recognized as one of the most prestigious institutions in Europe, the university welcomes thousands of international students each year through mobility programs.

U.Porto offers opportunities in various fields of knowledge, including undergraduate and integrated master’s degrees, with a wide range of programs distributed across its different faculties. The application process is carried out online and involves steps such as registration in the university’s system, completion of the application form, submission of the required documents in a single PDF file, and validation by the home institution. Required documents include the signed application form, academic transcript, and other relevant certificates.

For the 2026/2027 academic year, the application deadlines are as follows:

1st semester: until May 21, 2026
2nd semester: until October 15, 2026

Selected students also receive institutional support for practical matters such as accommodation and integration, with special mention to the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), which assists in adapting to academic and cultural life in the city.
