The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), in Mexico, has opened applications for students interested in undertaking an academic mobility period with credit recognition during the August–December 2026 semester, available in both in-person and virtual formats.
The opportunity is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students from partner institutions, allowing them to enroll in courses at the Mexican university and expand their academic training and international experience. According to UACJ’s academic calendar, the semester will begin on August 3, 2026, and end on November 28, 2026.
UACJ offers more than 100 academic programs, including undergraduate and graduate degrees across several institutes and campuses. The available programs can be consulted here:

Students interested in applying must gather the required documentation and send it to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br by May 7, so that the nomination can be officially submitted to UACJ by the home institution. After this step, candidates will receive access to the Student Mobility System of the Mexican university to complete their registration and upload additional documents.

Students selected for the in-person modality must also present international health insurance covering the entire mobility period.
Main eligibility requirements include:

Minimum GPA of 8.5 (undergraduate) or 8.0 (graduate) according to the Mexican grading scale

Completion of at least 20 courses (undergraduate) or the first semester of graduate studies

Not being in the final semester of the program

B1 level of Spanish (when applicable)

B1 level of English if requesting courses taught in English
