UACJ opens call for student mobility 2026-2 in on-site and virtual modalities

The Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), Mexico, has opened applications for students interested in undertaking an academic stay with credit recognition during the August–December 2026 semester, in both on-site and virtual modalities. The opportunity is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students from partner institutions and allows them to take courses at the Mexican university, enhancing their academic training and international experience. According to UACJ’s academic calendar, the semester will begin on August 3, 2026, and end on November 28.

UACJ offers more than 100 academic programs, including undergraduate and graduate degrees, across different institutes and campuses. Course options can be found at the following links:

Interested students must gather the required documents and send them to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br by May 7, so that their application can be officially nominated to UACJ by their home institution. After this step, candidates will receive access to the Mexican university’s Student Mobility System to complete their application and upload additional documents.

Required documents include: completed UACJ application form; nomination letter from the home institution; official photo ID; motivation letter; academic transcript; academic recommendation letter; language proficiency certificates (when applicable); copy of passport or proof of application (for on-site mobility). Students selected for the on-site modality must also provide international health insurance covering the entire mobility period.

Main requirements for participation include:

Minimum GPA of 8.5 (undergraduate) or 8.0 (graduate), according to the Mexican grading scale; completion of at least 20 courses (undergraduate) or the first semester (graduate); not being in the final semester of the program; proof of Spanish proficiency at B1 level (when applicable); and proof of English proficiency at B1 level if applying for courses taught in English.
