REINTER publishes Erasmus+ KA171 Call for Applications for graduate students

The International Relations Office (REINTER) of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) has published Call for Applications 01/2026 for the Erasmus+ KA171 Program, offering an opportunity for international academic mobility to graduate students (Master’s and PhD) regularly enrolled at the institution.

The initiative is carried out in partnership with the University of Cádiz (UCA), Spain, and covers the 2026–2027 academic year. The program aims to provide FURG students with the opportunity to undertake part of their studies at the Spanish institution, promoting academic and cultural exchange and strengthening the university’s internationalization.

One mobility position will be offered for a five-month period, which may take place in the first semester (September to February) or the second semester (February to June). The program provides a waiver of academic fees and access to UCA facilities. Other costs, such as travel and living expenses, are the responsibility of the student.

Eligible applicants include students regularly enrolled in Master’s or PhD programs at FURG who have not participated in the Erasmus Program in the previous year. Applicants must demonstrate Spanish proficiency (B1 level) through a DELE certificate or, exceptionally for research stays, present an English and/or French certificate (minimum B1 level). UCA also offers a free level assessment for candidates without an official certificate.

Applications must be submitted between March 18 and April 12, 2026, by sending the complete documentation to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br with the subject line “Application UCA Call”.

The full call, including all information, timeline, and selection criteria, is available on the REINTER website at this link.
