The International Relations Office (REINTER) of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) has published Call for Applications No. 02/2026 for the AULP ProSaúde+ Mobility Program, offering an opportunity for international academic exchange for undergraduate students of the Medicine program. The initiative is carried out in partnership with the University of Algarve, Portugal, and covers the 2026–2027 academic year.
One position will be offered to a Medicine student who meets at least one of the following affirmative action criteria: low income (certified by PRAE); Black, Brown, or Indigenous students (PPI); persons with disabilities and/or based on gender and sexual diversity (in accordance with Laws No. 12,711/2012 and No. 13,409/2016).
The selected student will receive a monthly scholarship of €850 during the 4 months of mobility, in addition to a travel grant of €1,735, granted at the discretion of AULP. The mobility may begin in September 2026 or February 2027, and the student may take courses or undertake an internship, subject to approval by the FURG Medicine Program Coordination.
Eligible applicants include students regularly enrolled in the FURG Medicine program who meet the affirmative action criteria, have a minimum GPA of 6.0, no more than two course failures, and have completed at least 20% of the program.
Applications for the first phase must be submitted between March 19 and April 12, 2026, by sending the complete documentation to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br with the subject “AULP Call – affirmative actions”. The student pre-selected by FURG must then apply through the AULP platform by April 30, 2026.
