The program seeks volunteer students to mentor international students at FURG, with certification of hours.

The International Relations Office of FURG (REINTER) announced this Monday (8) the opening of applications for the third edition of the International Buddy Program, an initiative that connects volunteer students with international exchange students at FURG. The program aims to facilitate the adaptation of exchange students and promote cultural exchange within the university.

Participants in the program will assist international students upon their arrival in Brazil, providing information about the university and the city, helping with their adaptation process, and guiding them through their first academic and administrative steps. Volunteers will also inform exchange students about university services such as the library, university restaurant, and course coordination offices.

In this edition, fifteen positions will be available. As a benefit, volunteers will receive certification for the hours dedicated to the program. Applications close on January 20. Interested students can apply through the following form.
