The Office for International Relations (REINTER) of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) publishes Call 16/2025, referring to the AULP ProSaúde+ Mobility Program, aimed at undergraduate students in the Medicine program. The call is part of FURG’s Affirmative Actions and seeks to promote inclusion and strengthen international cooperation in higher education.
The initiative offers one position for international academic mobility at a Portuguese university, expected to begin in February 2026. The selected student will receive a monthly grant of €850 for four months, in addition to a travel allowance of €1,735, as determined by the Association of Portuguese Language Universities (AULP).
Eligible applicants are regularly enrolled Medicine students at FURG who have a minimum GPA of 7.0, no more than two failed courses, and meet at least one affirmative action criterion: low-income students (with proof from PRAE), Black, Brown, or Indigenous students (PPI), students with disabilities, and/or students under gender and sexuality criteria, in accordance with Laws No. 12.711/2012 and 13.409/2016.
