REINTER Announces Call for Applications for the AUGM ESCALA Docente Program at Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE)

The Office of International Relations (REINTER) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) announces the opening of applications for Call 09/2026 – ESCALA Docente. Organized under the Montevideo Group Association of Universities (AUGM), the program offers 1 (one) faculty mobility position for the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE), in Argentina.

About the Program

The ESCALA Docente Program aims to promote regional cooperation and integration among AUGM member institutions through faculty exchange. It seeks to strengthen scientific and technological capacity, consolidate critical research mass in strategic areas, and foster long-term joint academic projects.

Mobility Details


  • Duration: Minimum of 7 (seven) and maximum of 10 (ten) days.
    Execution Period: 2027 academic calendar (to be scheduled according to the host university's calendar).

    Benefits: FURG will cover travel expenses (air or bus fares), while UNNE will cover accommodation and meal expenses according to its internal regulations.

Selection Process

Proposals will be evaluated by a designated committee (Ordinance 3490/2026 - REINTER) based on the following criteria:
  • Affiliation with a FURG graduate program (2.0 points);
    Work plan detailing international cooperation and a feedback activity at FURG (4.0 points);
    Motivation letter explaining the feasibility and impact of the mobility (3.0 points);
    Participation in an AUGM Academic Committee or Disciplinary Nucleus (1.0 point).

    Proof of participation in an AUGM Academic Committee or Disciplinary Nucleus (if applicable).
