The 32nd Young Researchers Conference (JJI) of the Association of Montevideo Group Universities is now open for applications from FURG students. The event, with the central theme "Education and Science Transform Realities", will be held at the National University of Tucumán, in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina, on November 5, 6, and 7, 2025.
The selection is aimed at FURG undergraduate and postgraduate students who have research projects with partial results to present. Proposals for research yet to be conducted will not be accepted.
A total of 40 spots are available: 20 for undergraduate students and 20 for postgraduate students.
The research projects must relate to one of the event’s thematic areas, which include:

Interdisciplinary Axis: Human Rights in Latin America, Technology Transfer, Interculturality, Sustainability, Inclusion, Innovation in the Food Sector, among others.

Human Sciences Axis: Institutional Assessment, Political and Social Sciences, Regional Development, Education for Integration, among others.

Exact Sciences Axis: Biophysics, Materials Science and Engineering, Science, Technology and Innovation, Mechanical Engineering, among others.

Biological Sciences Axis: Water, Environment and Environmental Pollution, Energy, Agrifood, Primary Health Care, among others.
To participate, students must be regularly enrolled at FURG, be under 35 years old by the end date of the event, and not hold a PhD or postdoctoral degree. Applications at FURG are open until August 22, 2025, and must be submitted via email to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br with the required documentation.
