Undergraduate students from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) have the opportunity to participate in the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP), a scholarship program funded by the Government of Canada that promotes academic exchange between Canadian institutions and universities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In this edition, applications will be carried out in partnership with Concordia University of Edmonton, Canada. The program enables students to undertake a period of academic mobility at the Canadian institution, strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of knowledge among participating countries. The selection is open to undergraduate students interested in undertaking temporary studies at the host university during the scholarship period.
Interested students must gather all required documentation and send the documents to reinter.mobilidade@furg.br by March 12. Required documents include a statement of intent, proof of citizenship, proof of full-time enrollment, academic transcript translated into English, proof of language proficiency, a letter of support from the home institution, and a list of courses they intend to take at the host university.

The results will be announced by March 31, 2026, and selected candidates will receive guidance to continue the admission process at the university, with exemption from the application fee.
