The Group of International Cooperation of Brazilian Universities (GCUB), in partnership with the Educational Testing Service (ETS), announces the opportunity to purchase vouchers with a 10% discount for the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition exams.

This offer is available to students, professors, technical staff, and researchers affiliated with GCUB member universities, such as FURG. The discounted test fee is USD 220.50 (to be paid in Brazilian reais based on the official exchange rate of the day). The deadline for requesting the voucher is July 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM (BRT), and it can be used within one year from the date of issuance.

To request the voucher, applicants must pay the fee in reais, calculated according to the official exchange rate of the day, available on the Central Bank website (https://www.bcb.gov.br/conversao). After making the payment, applicants must fill out the form available at https://form.jotform.com/251813362064654 and attach the required payment proofs.

The vouchers, issued by ETS, will be sent to applicants within 30 days. Once issued, beneficiaries will have up to one year to schedule their exam, with no extensions allowed. The discount applies to tests taken in Brazil-based test centers or through the Home Edition format.

Important: No refunds will be issued in case of withdrawal. In addition to the discount, registering through GCUB waives international banking fees, making the process more accessible to the academic community.
