The Brazilian Association for International Education (GCUB), in partnership with the Educational Testing Service (ETS), announces a new opportunity to acquire vouchers with a 10% discount for the TOEFL iBT and TOEFL iBT Home Edition exams.

The offer is available to students, faculty members, technical staff, and researchers affiliated with universities that are members of the GCUB, such as FURG. The discounted test fee is USD 220.50 (payment in Brazilian Reais, based on the official exchange rate of the day). The deadline for requests is November 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (BRT), and the voucher may be used within one year of issuance.

To request the voucher, applicants must pay the corresponding amount in Reais, calculated using the official exchange rate available on the Central Bank’s website (https://www.bcb.gov.br/conversao). After payment, the applicant must complete the form available at https://form.jotform.com/253063098162658 and attach the required proof of payment.

Vouchers, issued by ETS, will be sent to applicants within 30 days. After issuance, beneficiaries will have one year to schedule the exam, with no possibility of extension. The discount is valid for tests taken at Test Centers in Brazil or in the Home Edition format.

Attention: No refunds will be granted in case of withdrawal. In addition to the discount, registration through GCUB avoids international banking fees, making the process more accessible to the academic community.
