The Brazilian Group for International Cooperation of Universities (GCUB), in partnership with the Instituto Cervantes, announces a new opportunity for students, faculty, and administrative staff from member universities to apply for special benefits offered by the eight Instituto Cervantes units in Brazil, located in Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Salvador (BA), and São Paulo (SP).

The Instituto Cervantes is internationally recognized as the main institution dedicated to promoting the teaching of the Spanish language and the culture of Spain and Hispanic countries.

Exclusive benefits for the academic community of GCUB member universities include:

• Free placement test

• Free virtual library card

• 25% discount on all courses

• 25% discount on the DELE proficiency exam

Interested individuals must complete the form available at https://form.jotform.com/253063672629664 by 11:59 p.m. (BRT) on November 28, 2025. The benefits will be available starting November 3, 2025. After this date, applicants should contact the Instituto Cervantes directly to access the benefits. There is no limit on the number of registrations per university.

According to the GCUB Statute, only member institutions in good standing may participate and enjoy the benefits. Candidates are subject to the evaluation procedures and regulations of the Instituto Cervantes.
