The Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) and the National University of Agriculture (UNAG) of Honduras have formalized an Academic, Scientific, Technological, and Cultural Cooperation Agreement aimed at strengthening integration between the two institutions in the fields of teaching, research, and outreach.

The agreement provides for a variety of collaborative activities, including the exchange of students, professors, and researchers, the joint development of research and technological innovation projects, and participation in scientific and cultural events. It also includes the implementation of dual degree programs, in accordance with the regulations of each institution, and joint supervision of theses and dissertations.

The partnership further seeks to promote the sharing of bibliographic resources and laboratory infrastructure, expanding opportunities for academic cooperation between Brazil and Honduras.
