The Office of International Relations (REINTER) at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) announces the opening of applications for Call 11/2026 – AULP ProSaúde+ Mobility Program (2026-2027), aimed at active faculty members assigned to the Faculty of Medicine (FAMED) at FURG.
The program aims to carry out a short-term academic exchange at the University of Algarve, in Portugal, promoting the establishment of institutional partnerships, the sharing of pedagogical experiences, curriculum enhancement, and joint scientific production.
Positions and Benefits

Position: 1 (one) position for a faculty member from the Faculty of Medicine (FAMED).

Financial Support: Scholarship in the amount of €170/day for seven (7) days of on-site mobility, plus a travel subsidy in the amount of €1,735.
Mobility Structure and Duration
The mobility will be carried out in three phases throughout the 2026-2027 period:

First Phase (Remote Work): Monthly online activities between the FURG faculty member and the host university faculty member.

Second Phase (On-site Work): One week of on-site work in Portugal (5 days of activities and 2 travel days).

Third Phase (Scientific Production): Joint preparation of a scientific article for publication in the Revista Internacional em Língua Portuguesa (RILP).
Eligibility Requirements

Be an active faculty member at FURG assigned to the Faculty of Medicine (FAMED);

Have completed the probationary period (estágio probatório);

Not be on professional development leave (licença capacitação) or any other leaves during the stages of this call;

Not hold a commissioned position at levels CD2, CD3, or CD4;

Hold a valid passport with an expiration date of more than 6 months.
Applications and Timeline
Applications take place from October 16 to November 3, 2026, via an online form. At the time of application, candidates must attach their Activity Plan (maximum 3 pages), Motivation Letter (maximum 2 pages), and a copy of their Passport.
