The Andifes Languages without Borders Network (IsF) has opened registration for free online Portuguese courses aimed at foreigners residing in Brazil or abroad. The initiative seeks to expand access to the Portuguese language and promote academic and cultural integration.
The call for applications was published on August 20, and registration will be open from August 22 to September 1, through a form available on the Rede Andifes IsF website. The selection results will be released on September 18, and classes will begin on September 22.
Selection is carried out in order of registration, and candidates may apply for more than one course, provided that schedules do not overlap. There are also reserved spots for foreigners who self-declare as persons with disabilities, Black, mixed-race, Indigenous, quilombola, or Roma.
Any foreign person may participate, by presenting an identification document and, when necessary, proof of proficiency or self-declaration of level. Students affiliated with higher education institutions may also present proof of enrollment to apply for reserved spots.
More information and access to the full notice are available on the Rede Andifes Languages without Borders website at this link.
