Em recente participação internacional, alunos da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande (FURG) apresentaram seus projetos de pesquisa na 30ª Jornada de Jovens Investigadores da Associação de Universidades Grupo Montevidéu (AUGM), que ocorreu em Assunção, Paraguai. Este evento anual destaca jovens talentos da América Latina e serve como plataforma para apresentação de pesquisas inovadoras desenvolvidas nas universidades participantes.

Kaio Figueiredo Salvador, com o tema: "LEI N. 13.134/2015: AS MULHERES PESCADORAS E O NÃO-TRABALHO SOB A ÓTICA FEMINISTA DE SILVIA FEDERICI". A pesquisa de Kaio lança um olhar crítico e atual sobre o papel e os desafios das mulheres pescadoras na legislação brasileira, sob a perspectiva feminista de Silvia Federici.

Caroline Passos Arruda, que abordou os "DESAFIOS E POTENCIALIDADES DO ACOLHIMENTO EM UNIDADES DE SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA". Caroline investiga as nuances e complexidades do acolhimento em unidades básicas de saúde, um pilar fundamental do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).

Paulo Madson da Silva, que trouxe para discussão o projeto "Melhorando a Mobilidade para Tetraplégicos: integrando Geometria Riemanniana e Neurociências". Paulo propõe avanços significativos na área da neurociência e reabilitação, buscando melhores soluções para pessoas com tetraplegia.
Graças ao apoio da Reinter, esses estudantes tiveram suas despesas com transporte e estadia custeadas pela FURG, além do auxílio na confecção do banner da pesquisa.

FURG Students Participate in the 30th Meeting of Young Researchers of AUGM in Asunción
In a recent international engagement, students from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) presented their research projects at the 30th Meeting of Young Researchers of the Association of Universities Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), held in Asunción, Paraguay. This annual event highlights young talents from Latin America and serves as a platform for presenting innovative research developed at the participating universities.
The representatives from FURG on the occasion were:
- Kaio Figueiredo Salvador, with the topic: "LAW N. 13,134/2015: FISHERWOMEN AND NON-WORK FROM THE FEMINIST PERSPECTIVE OF SILVIA FEDERICI." Kaio's research casts a critical and current gaze on the role and challenges of fisherwomen in Brazilian legislation, from the feminist perspective of Silvia Federici.
- Caroline Passos Arruda, who discussed the "CHALLENGES AND POTENTIALS OF RECEPTION IN FAMILY HEALTH UNITS." Caroline investigates the nuances and complexities of reception in basic health units, a fundamental pillar of the Unified Health System (SUS).
- Paulo Madson da Silva, who brought to discussion the project "Improving Mobility for Quadriplegics: integrating Riemannian Geometry and Neuroscience." Paulo proposes significant advances in the field of neuroscience and rehabilitation, seeking better solutions for people with quadriplegia.
Thanks to the support from Reinter, these students had their transportation and accommodation expenses covered by FURG, in addition to assistance in creating the research banner.
